Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry
Faculty member of Analytical Chemistry Department
Maryam Vosough received an MSc in analytical chemistry from Razi University, Kermanshah, Iran (1999). She has got PhD in analytical chemistry from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran (2006). The topic of her PhD program was "Determination of chemical compounds in complex mixtures using GC-MS coupled with soft modeling methods in chemometrics and hard modelling study of kinetic reactions”. During the PhD study, she has performed a research period in School of Life Science, Chemistry Discipline, University of Newcastle, Australia (2004-2005) with the Prof. Maeder (Chemometrics group), where she worked on soft and hard modeling of chromatographic and kinetic data systems. She joined to the chemistry and chemical engineering research center of Iran (CCERCI) as a faculty member of analytical chemistry department in 2006. She has continued this field as the development and application of multivariate data modeling in hyphenated chromatographic and spectroscopic systems since 2006 at CCERCI.
-Chemometrics modeling of chromatographic data (GC-MS, HPLC-DAD, LC-MS)
-Environmental monitoring: Emerging pollutants
